Voyage Groups

Pathway is a community of people, not a place. The mission of Pathway Community Church is not to grow large or create the "perfect" church. We view success as the transformation in our lives and the impact that is has on those around us.

We believe the best place to connect, build relationships and experience God is in community. Smaller communities, called Voyage groups, gather regularly to encourage each other on the path to becoming passionate followers of Christ.

Join a community. Each group varies in terms of lifestage, meeting date and frequency. Check one out near you.

Current Groups:

Hekman Group: Overland Park, 143rd and Switzer area, 2nd and 4th Sundays at 5:30. The group is currently mostly young families; each couple contributes $10/month towards childcare. Topics range, and each week includes hanging out, prayer and worship time. They also get together for other planned social activities, and sponsored a camping adventure last year.

Sells Group: Olathe, 127th & Blackbob, 1st and 3rd Sundays from 4:30-6:30 pm. Most members are beyond school children age, and include both single and married adults.

Lefever Group: Shawnee Mission Parkway and K7, 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings. This group is made up of young marrieds and post-college singles. They meet for Bible study, in addition to social activities throughout the month, including volunteer work and have "adopted" a Rwandan refugee family.

Stick Around Sundays

Part of our Pathway culture is to enjoy meals together. On the 1st Sunday of each month lunch is provided immediately after the service. It’s a fun time to connect and hang out with each other.

Wednesday Community Nights

Everyone is invited for supper at the Commons (159th and Blacbob in Olathe) on Wednesday nights at 6 pm. After sharing a meal together, there are different educational programs, events or activities. Pumpkin carving, baking cookies, family talent show and Bible studies are some of the programs included. This is a great time to invite a neighbor or co-worker.
