Pathway understands core values to be the constant, passionate, biblical core beliefs that drive the ministry.
The following represents the core values of Pathway Community Church. It is our desire that
they define and describe the environment and culture of Pathway Community. They clarify the
attitudes and approaches which will guide our understanding in pursuing our mission we value.
1. Lighting the path with Biblical teaching
We value the teachings of scripture as our only reliable guide on the path to truth. The Bible will direct us in what we are to believe and how we are to act. We will strive to develop a biblical worldview and grow in our knowledge, understanding and dedication to biblical teaching, (2nd Timothy 3:14-17; 4:3-4).

2. Walking the path in community.
We value and strive to live as a community which reflects the love of Christ. Our relationships with fellow travelers are characterized by - love, unity, forgiveness, compassion, vulnerability, and concern for each other. Regularly gathering and encouraging each other to mirror the character of Christ. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrew 10:24-25)

3. Traveling the path through the eyes of prayer.
We value prayer and strive to function in all aspects of this ministry within the atmosphere
of prayer. What we do as community is conceived, planned, and implemented in prayer. We pray
from the heart, offering thanksgiving for all God has done and acknowledging our need,
resting in the assurance that God listens to our prayers. (Matthew 6:9-13; Mark 11:17; John
14:13-14 )
4. Participating in the path of authentic worship.
We value and strive for worship which engages all our lives- our hearts, mind, soul and strength- in ascribing supreme, value, worth, glory and honor to the triune God. (Romans 12:1-2; John 4: 21-24, Revelation 5:9-14)

5. Multiply the number of travelers on the path.
We value and strive to reach and impact as many people as possible to move forward in being passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We will pursue any avenue, without compromising biblical truth or integrity, to bring together fellow travelers on the path. (Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8, 1st Corinthians 9:19-23)
