We value the image of God in all people, everywhere. We believe that we were created to live deeply with one another, carrying each other's burdens, sharing our possessions, to pray for and confess our sins to each other, to suffer and celebrate together. It's in these honest,
loving relationships that God transforms us and truth becomes a reality. The way of
Jesus cannot be lived alone.
Missional congregations practice the kind of hospitality that welcomes the
stranger even while anticipating that welcoming new people to share in
ministry may change their faith community. Ministry in these
congregations is not designed just to meet the needs of its own
members (in-reach), but to help meet the needs of those in the
larger community (outreach).
This is not a ‘settled’ church comfortable with the status quo, but rather
a ‘sent’ church that sees itself as on the move for the sake of the gospel
and the sake of the world.”
